The Aircraft Carrier that stood against odds

Hello, Arcie Clemence D. Aca here, before we start, I am deeply fascinated about military history especially the events during World War II regarding Naval Warfare. I have read tons of stories, watched documentaries to widen my knowledge more about these events and here I am to showcase the most decorated US ship for her service during World War II, the USS CV-6 Enterprise.

USS CV-6 "Enterprise"
The USS Enterprise (CV-6), a Yorktown class aircraft carrier, was the sixth aircraft carrier of the United States Navy. She was also the seventh ship to use the name.

She took part in more fights against Japan than any other U.S. ship. These fights included the Battle of Midway, the Battle of the Eastern Solomon's, the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands, many other fights during the Guadalcanal campaign, the Battle of the Philippine Sea, and the Battle of Leyte Gulf. At three different times during the Pacific War, the Japanese said that she had been sunk in battle. This lead her to be nicknamed "The Grey Ghost".
